Orissa the Gateway to Heaven

Orissa is the land of Jagannath,the Lord of the World. Its is a place on earth which has its own significance in history and can have a great impact on the future of the the world. According to the Puranas it is said that when there will be uncontrollable sin on earth,Lord Kalki will come on earth to eradicate evil.And according to legends,the sea will rise to great heights and Lord Jagannath ,Lord Balabhadra and Lord Shubhadra will be carried to a place called Chatia bata by the sea.From there the three Lords will mount on horses and begin their mission of eradicating evil on earth.
This is a legend which can be believed both in a spiritual manner and understand its deep message.

Whatever it maybe,but the land of Lord Jagannath ,Shri Dham Puri is considered as the last of the four Dhams or sacred places on earth,which every mortal should visit to wipe out all the sins through out the life time and seek the abode of Nirvana,the Land of God.

In Puri there is a place called Swarga Dwara,which is near the sea ,and from where the Puri Jagannath Temple is visible. It is said that anyone who goes through this gate attains the blessing of the Lord and destined to go towards SwargLok.

Well my dear friends, Orissa is a Land of great mysteries and great importance like many other places on earth and in India.But Orissa will remain a destination for all the seekers of eternal peace,truth of life and to get mukti. The Gate way to Heaven
